Notre histoire
It all started in 1989, in Vancouver, Canada. Inspiration struck when our founders, Howard and Jixin, came across a simple, yet exceptional product: a well-made, well-priced duvet.
From there the mission was clear: to bring better sleep to all Canadians, with high-quality, affordable bedding. And the rest is history! In 1992, they opened their first two stores as ‘Quilts Etc’ in Clearbrook and Nanaimo, BC.
Plus de trois décennies plus tard, QE Home est passée d'une petite entreprise familiale à un nom de famille canadien. Bien que nous ayons grandi, nous sommes restés fidèles à nos racines, plaçant la famille, le confort et nos communautés au premier plan. Aujourd'hui, nous avons plus de 70 magasins à travers le pays, de l'île de Vancouver à la pointe de Terre-Neuve.

Notre évolution

Howard et Jixin inventent le nom "Quilts Etc" et ouvrent leurs deux premiers magasins à Clearbrook et Nanaimo, en Colombie-Britannique. Bien que bricolés avec des accessoires d'occasion et contenant peu de produits, les magasins Quilts Etc attirent la foule. Nos fondateurs sont sur la bonne voie.

Le début des années 90 est une période de croissance rapide. Aujourd'hui, l'entreprise familiale est présente dans tout le pays, avec des magasins à Calgary, en Alberta, et à Mississagua, en Ontario.

Nous lançons notre première ligne de textiles écologiques, fabriqués en fibres de bambou naturelles ultra-douces.

En pensant à l'avenir, nous lançons la première version de notre site de commerce électronique. Pour la toute première fois, nos produits peuvent être achetés en ligne !

Nous commençons à développer notre équipe de designers internes et à créer de nouvelles lignes de literie chaque saison.

Nous adoptons une nouvelle marque ! Quilts Etc devient QE Home. "QE" comme un rappel de notre passé. "Home" pour mieux représenter la variété des produits que nous offrons et qui nous orientera vers l'avenir.

Nous avons vécu une année exceptionnelle. Pour réussir, nous nous sommes concentrés à introduire de nouveaux services à nos clients ayant à cœur la sécurité, comme le ramassage le jour même.

As a child, I used to spend time in our stores with my dad. What I remember most was the way we made people feel. The joy when guests walked out of our store with fresh linens, and the gratitude people expressed for the comfort we provided. The way I see it, QE Home doesn't just provide bedding. STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® ensures a textile has been verified in an independent laboratory, and is free from more than 100 substances known to be harmful to human and environmental health.
The GOTS certification ensures organic textiles follow world-recognized environmental and ecological standards throughout production (from harvesting the raw materials to manufacturing, labeling, and more). Fun fact: GOTS certified products are pesticide-free and require lighter water irrigation!
